AVP, Senior Risk Analyst - Real Estate
JP Insurance Group is seeking an AVP, Senior Risk Analyst – Real Estate to support and oversee a growing portfolio of complex real estate and commercial accounts.
This role will serve as a senior placement and strategic advisory resource for large real estate clients, including multifamily, habitational, hospitality, mixed-use, and investment real estate portfolios. The position will play a key role in program placement, renewal strategy, carrier negotiations, and overall client relationship management.
In addition to managing high-level client servicing responsibilities, this individual will oversee and mentor a Risk Analyst supporting day-to-day account execution and operational workflow.
Responsibilities

Serve as the lead service and strategic contact for a portfolio of complex real estate and commercial accounts.

Manage and oversee the renewal and marketing process, including submission strategy, coverage analysis, remarketing efforts, carrier negotiations, and stewardship discussions.

Structure and maintain complex property and casualty insurance programs, including layered property, umbrella/excess liability, and real estate-focused placements.

Coordinate closely with carriers, wholesale brokers, and surplus lines partners to secure competitive coverage terms and effective program execution.

Provide high-level advisory support to clients regarding exposures, coverage structure, risk management strategy, and market conditions.

Oversee day-to-day servicing activity performed by a supporting Risk Analyst, including endorsements, certificates, policy changes, and operational follow-through.

Track renewal timelines, internal deliverables, and market activity to ensure smooth and proactive execution.

Support claims coordination and escalation management as needed for key client relationships.

Maintain organized account documentation and ensure data accuracy across internal systems.

Contribute to workflow development, operational strategy, and the continued growth of the Real Estate & Hospitality platform.
Qualifications

Active Florida 2-20 license (additional state licenses a plus).

7+ years of commercial P&C account management experience.

Significant real estate P&C experience strongly preferred, including experience with large or complex property portfolios.

Strong technical understanding of commercial property and casualty coverage structures and real estate program design.

Experience managing carrier relationships, marketing strategy, and complex renewals.

Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships in a fast-paced and high-touch environment.

Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Comfortable mentoring junior staff and operating in an entrepreneurial, growth-oriented setting.

CPCU or other industry designations are a plus.
